Spring 2014 YA Scavenger Hunt!
Oh my jellyfish! Can you believe that I’m getting to be on this hunt AGAIN! I’m so excited I can barely breathe! I love this amazing hunt. And… Yay! You’ve found my stop!
I’m Jessica (J.A. Souders) and I write young adult, new adult, and adult fiction. Yep. I’ve got my hands in a lot of pies, but the more the merrier I always say. I’m big on philanthropy and I’m a sucker for a good cause. Especially if it has to do with saving the oceans and everything in it or helping out my friends. I wanted to be a marine biologist and wanted to be the first to discover Atlantis, but I joined the Navy instead and decided to write about underwater worlds instead of hunting for them. I’m totally in love with Ian Somerhalder (who isn’t?) and completely addicted to the Vampire Diaries. And last but not least Beth Revis is my doppelganger (or I’m hers. We haven’t quite figured out who’s first yet.)
On this hunt, you not only get access to exclusive content from each participating YA author, you also get a secret number. Add up the numbers, and enter it for a chance to win a major prize–one lucky winner will receive at least one signed book from each author on my team in the hunt! But play fast: this contest (and all the exclusive bonus material) will only be online until noon PST on Sunday, April 6th!
You can start right here or you can also go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage to find out all about the hunt. There are TWO contests going on simultaneously, and you can enter one or both! I am a part of the RED TEAM–but there is also a blue team and if you do the blue hunt you’ll have a chance to win a whole different set of signed books!
If you’d like to find out more about the hunt, see links to all the authors participating, see the full list of prizes up for grabs, or if you get lost along the way, go to the YA Scavenger Hunt homepage.

Now that all the technical stuff is out of the way, I’ll introduce the author I am hosting on this hunt.
I am super excited to be hosting…
STACEY KADE
Her’s her bio:As a former award-winning corporate copywriter, Stacey Kade has written about everything from backhoe loaders to breast pumps. But she prefers to make things up instead.
Stacey is the author of The Ghost and the Goth trilogy (The Ghost and the Goth, Queen of the Dead, and Body & Soul) as well as the Project Paper Doll series.
She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, Greg, and their two retired racing greyhounds, Tall Walker (Walker) and SheWearsThePants (Pansy).
The Project Paper Doll series: The Hunt

Ariane Tucker has finally escaped GTX, the research facility that created her. While on the run, Zane Bradshaw is the only person she can trust. He knows who-and what-she is and still wants to be part of her life.
But accepting Zane’s help means putting him in danger.
Dr. Jacobs, head of GTX, is not the only one hunting for Ariane. Two rival corporations have their sights set on taking down their competition. Permanently. To protect Zane and herself, Ariane needs allies. She needs the other hybrids. The hybrids who are way more alien and a lot less human. Can Ariane win them over before they turn on her? Or will she be forced to choose sides, to decide who lives and who dies?

CONTINUE THE HUNT
To keep going on your quest for the hunt, you need to check out the next author here.
It didn’t seem dangerous at the time but in hindsight I probably should’ve been more careful when traveling alone overseas. Especially when going to night clubs, meeting boys and sightseeing at night. :/
Thank you both for being part of the YASH! The most dangerous thing I’ve ever done… I can’t think of anything specific, but probably something to do with driving.
Going to strange guys house who we met at a bar because our friend was interested in the guy. We put scissors in our purse like that would protect us.
The only person I’ve been told I look like is my sister, which is not surprising or exciting. I guess we don’t have any famous dopplegangers. Bummer. Thanks for hosting! 🙂
Well, my mom tells me that I look like Allie Grant (Lisa from “Suburgatory”). Not sure I see it…but that’s about it.
I have had people tell me a lot that I look very familiar or they have seen my doppleganger around, but I haven’t been told I look like someone well known or famous.
There have been a couple people that I have looked like, but none of them are famous. Growing up I always heard that I look a lot (and apparently sound and talk like) my aunt. And in high school a couple teachers thought that one of my best friends and I looked alike, and they would call us by the wrong names.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve never been told I look like someone else, now that I think of it.
My grandma use to tell me I looked like a young Elizabeth Taylor, but I think it was just love talking 🙂
Kate Winslet or Lindsey Lohan, depending.
no one
I look like my sister, we’re sometimes mistaken for twins!
I get told I look like people ALL THE TIME! But it’s always by a stranger who mistakes me for someone they know. I gets kind of annoying after a few years haha
I don’t see it but my friends say I look like Mia from the Princess Diaries. Must be the hair and glasses 😀
My uncle claims I look like Jessica Biel, but I don’t see it lol.
Mmm no one famous, but on pics of me as a kid they said I look like a cartoon xD
When I was younger I was told I looked like my cousin 🙂
No one famous. When I was younger some people said I looked like my aunt.
I get mistaken for my mom a lot. lol
The only people I’ve been told I look alike are my granny and my Aunt. I haven’t yet found my doppelganger.
Know ones told me I look like anyone except my sister yet.
I have been told I look like a girl from pitch perfect.
I don’t think I’ve ever been told I look like anyone other than my sister. Lol.
Well I’ve never been told I look like a celebrity, but I get told I look like my dad a lot! Thanks for the giveaway! 😀
When I was a kid, I was told I looked like I could be Fred Savage’s twin (think Wonder Years or the sick kid in Princess Bride!). It was actually true… we did look a LOT alike. Now that we’re both old (okay, oldER), we look nothing alike. Go figure!
I have been told I look like Liv Tyler, but I completely do not see it lol
Thanks for the extra giveaway!
I’ve been told I look like Tia and Tamara Mowry from the show Sister Sister. I kind of see it.
I’ve been told I look like Beyoncè.. Jokes:P I probably couldn’t look more different than her!! Hehe. I don’t even know… apparently I don’t look like anyone special :/ aha oh well.
A friend thought I somewhat resembled Abigail Breslin XD
Besides family members I’ve actually been told I look like quite a few people. Frankie Sandford Kristin Kreuk, Aishwarya Rai… & the funny thing is that none of these people look alike, lol. 😀
I’ve been told that I look like Selena Gomez.
I’ve been told I look like my older sister.
I have been told I look like my grandmother.
I’ve been told that I look like Emily Fields off of Pretty Little Liars when I wear my hair straight. I don’t know if its true, but I sure wouldn’t mind it if I did! Lol!! 😀
I’ve been told I look just like my best friend more times than I can count!
I’ve been told I look like Molly Ringwald.
Hello to a fellow Floridian,
Honestly, I’ve never been told that I look like any celebrity. However, there is a photo of me when I was around eight doing my science project outside (hair unbrushed and wild). Upon seeing this once, my brother commented that I looked a lot like Harry Potter’s Hermione Granger and I really did. 🙂
Most people say i look like my mom. No celebrities or anything like that 🙂
I get a lot of “I swear I’ve seen you before” comments when I don’t think I have ever met them haha. No one in particular really.
This is old school stuff, but when Melrose Place was on the air, I used to be told frequently that I look like Courtney Thorne Smith.
People say I most look like my dad and I am not a guy.
I don’t get told I look like anyone special. Actually, I don’t get many comparisons, if any.
I used to be told I looked like Hermione because of my hair, but not so much since the last 2/3 HP movies. I often get told I look like my mom though.
Well… everybody says me and my sister could pass up for twins. They have told my sis that she looks like Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) so that means I look like her too…yes? Yay. 🙂
I’ve been told that my younger brother and I can pass for twins, even though we are 17 months apart. Other than that I’ve never been told that I look like someone else, no came across anyone who does, in my limited travels. Although I would love to have a doppelganger, I like to think that because I don’t have one (yet!) that it’s because God broke the mold when He created me!! LOL
Keanu Reeves though don’t know why 😛
